Pictures are up at www.teamseacats.com - apparently that disposable camera REALLY needed the flash indoors and being uncertain about it, I used the flash on about half of the pictures.

Quick summary-
The new f18 does not seem to mind the crew weight being near the back as that seems the way that it is designed. it does not like pinching upwind as that does not create enough pressure on the boards to gybe them.
It goes pretty well - we lapped the 2nd place boat [a tiger] in the club race! Especially slick downwind.
The build quality and the race prepared kit is FANTASTIC. Some of the tweaky bits are really cool. I have not had to add anything or taper any sheets or file anything down.

Second race results infusion, a real test this time as this is the first F18 class race in Netherlands with a limited amount of start permits for the F18 worlds to qualify for. This race is part of the serie of qualification races.

I personally count 5 infusions in these overall results. I may have missed a boat however, as I have one infusion unaccounted for.

I must be said however that Gunnar/Sacha missed halve of the races and that dragged their points total way up.

I'm stil missing Remco Kenbeek (capricorn) and some other crews of that level however. Were are they ?

WE WOULDN'T WANT AN INFUSION OUT THERE ON ITS LONESOME UNACCOUNTED FOR!

For those who dont know, both Mischa and Vincent are pro sailors with Olympic campaigns and would have won on either a Tiger or "old" Nacra F18.
Eurocat Carnac starting this friday (28/4) should be good though.
