Hey Garry,

Looks like a few of us are going. Three Rye boats, a couple from Sugarloaf and I think Matt and Daniel are also going. I am sure there will be a few others......

Will we be seeing you??

All the best...

Yeah I am heading up Friday, via Irwin Sails and selling old set of rudders to a guy fixing up a Mossie. Hope to get through Melb before the afternoon rush.

Hi all,

what a way to start the season, a full on weekend of sailing covering both extremes of wind, if you didn't go, you should have followed Tim's example of dedication to Mossie sailing. England Wednesday night, Paynesville Friday, Lake Eppaloch Saturday morning. shocked What was your excuse confused

With 8 Mossies in Division 2 (racing hobie 16's and Paper Tigers) and 6 with spinnaker in Div 1 (racing A's, Vipers, Taipans and Capricorn) Mossies where well represented, but there was room for more. At presentation people thought there was a echo, with Gary's on Mossies taking out Div 1 & 2 cool. Well done to the older Gary wink.

Thrice Bitten had some of the wildest rides ever on Sunday under spinnaker without capsizing and the new Irwin sails certainly went well, as Thrice Bitten completed the first lap in one race in second place outright shocked only an A one boat length ahead.

All in all a good weekend of sailing and socialising, a great start grin roll on season 2012-13.

Yes those flat-water, screaming downwind legs were a very good way to get the season started.

I'm sorry I didn't watch over my shoulder down the final downwind Matt. Your ride down that leg must have been insanely fast. I thought I had been breaking the speed limit but when I took the spinnaker down you had caught me up!
You should have trapped that last sprint to the finish - you could have got me.

yes it was so fast that i had to lift up the bottom centerboard to keep the nose out, scary stuff, and i didnt want to push it as i could of broken something , i was fine where i was.

Hi Matt,

have done that before, but never had time to think about it at Bendigo, guess I was just to busy hanging on and trying to avoid other boats. crazy

Regards,
Gary.
