This is your first reminder that the Alter Area D South Qualifier early registration deadline is approaching. If you haven’t already registered and you’re planning on going you need to start getting your ducks in a row. The deadline is 3 ½ weeks out (October 18).



A few key points you need to keep in mind if you plan on doing this race:



- Liability insurance is required, see the NOR for details http://www.pensacolabeach-yc.org/2008_Area_Ds_NOR_Rev0.pdf you will need to show proof of insurance at the registration table.

- DPN modifiers are not allowed

- USSailing membership is required for ALL (skipper and crew) participants racing in this regatta, no exceptions.

- All boats start together and sail the same course.

If for some reason a sailor/team from outside Area D South needs to race on the Area D South Eliminations please get prior approval from the Alter Cup committee. Jake Kohle is your contact in this regard. Otherwise the event is closed to non Area D South sailors.
