Is anyone having second thoughts yet?

I heard Keith Ohlberman, yesterday, say something like "Perhaps the Obama team should vet their candidates a litte more or perhaps we should have vetted Barack Obama a little more." Hell-o. It's a little late to come to that party.

Where are you folks that were on the President Obama bandwagon? Are you still as "gung-ho"?

On a scale of 1 - 100 where are you on thinking....

"I wish we had better candidates to choose from with this past election."?

(1 being "NOPE THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED THEN AND STILL WANT NOW."
AND 100 being "OH CRAP, WE HAVE TO FIGURE OUT A BETTER WAY TO GET BETTER CANDIDATES. THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE A DISASTER.")

I'm at about 75.

The choices were not too good and I didn't vote for Obama. Mainly because I don't think he can do the job. I hope he proves me wrong. He's got a tough row to hoe. Granted everyone still blames Bush for our current situation, but this country isn't run by one man. I blame the whole system. I didn't vote to re-elect anyone (but that didn't work).

Sometimes you need to be careful what you ask for... you might just get it.

As far as the candidates I look at it as, Do you want to get bent over by a Donkey or an Elephant? Either way your getting the same thing.

So I take it you are pleased with what you've seen so far? That's all I'm asking. I am well aware of the results of the election.
(As an FYI, I'm fairly certain I wouldn't be all that pleased if the results of the election were reversed.) But would I be pleased if I was a liberal and my "savior" had started his administration with the team he has assembled thus far? sick

I didn't vote Obama either but did notice all his banners had "Change" on them. He must have seen that episode of Cheers when Woody ran for public office and all he had to do was put the word "Change" in his speech. And Hobie1616, grow up a little. If you think bullswan lost, then you lost too. ALL of stand to gain or lose no matter who you voted for. Why do the Obama supporters get so ruffled up over such simple question?

See what? The end of an error is still in office.

I don't have a savior. Obama is a smart guy who is surrounding himself with other smart guys. He'll hit bumps but should be successful in getting this country out of the financial/big government/loss of standing in the world hole we're at the bottom of.

Why is it whenever you guys get cornered all you can come up with is, "Grow up?" Bullswan was the last one to say that. Here's my response to him. It still applies.

"Grow up to be what? A chicken hawk? Someone who outs a CIA agent because her husband ratted out a liar? Someone who picks US Attorneys based on their political and religious leanings rather than their legal skills? A sellout to lobbyists and then deny knowing them while pictures prove otherwise? Deny funding for stem cell research that might have saved, among others, Ronald Reagan's life? Someone that doesn't just allow, but promotes the torture of prisoners which goes against our Constitution, our laws, our moral values and what America stands for? Someone that sets up prosecutions that are so far out of wack that the prosecutors quit? Someone that abandons a city of millions of Americans after they're hit with a hurricane?

I am never going to grow up."
