The cover on my luff rope has some tears in it and I would like to have it replaced. Does anyone have recommendations for sail repair local to Raleigh or Virginia Beach?

There was a Quantum loft in Hampton Va.
Why not try them?

Ullman Sail Loft in Oriental fixed my jib a year or two ago. My head had ripped in a demasting and my luff wire had come out. They did a great job.

Thanks, I will probably go with them. They fixed some dinghy sails for me in the past and its convenient to drop it off after the Version 2.7 regatta this year.

Re-covering the bolt rope is a pretty straightforward repair. If you want it done locally, Howard Alexander has a loft in Raleigh. He and my wife Joleen sew sails there and do a variety of repairs.

Eric
