It's time for the two party system to go! Maybe we can divide and conquer them.
In Florida the major parties, Republicans and Democrats are given special treatment under the law. Basically, if you are NOT a major party it's a bitch getting a candidate on the ballot. For the R&Ds it's a no brainer, it happens almost automatically. Further the Party apparatus has control over primary results. Not long a ago a Republican won her primary but the local Republican Party Boss, refused to have her name appear on the ballot, claiming she was a "stealth" candidate because she had failed to sign a "loyalty oath" to the Republican party. A "Major Party", in Florida at least, is a private club. Sure, you can declare party affiliation on your voters registration card. But the party itself doesn't have to admit you. For instance, you might want to participate in selecting a nominee endorsed by the party, but said party doesn't have to allow it. It is the ultimate good old boys club. To state it a different way, if I'm the party chairman and hold a candidate selection meeting in my home I don't have to let you in. The same as if I were having a bar-b-que. I don't have a problem with the "privacy" issue, but I don't think that same party should enjoy special treatment under the law.
I wonder if the Supreme Court would uphold "special" treatment for Major parties? Crazy Anton would, buthe is just one looney in the bin.
Why do we care? If there was a zillion parties, maybe the cabal would run out of money before they could buy up all of congress? To me it looks like the cabal owns Congress 100%.
After yesterday,I'd believe anything. There is no conspiracy so wacky that I wouldn't lend credence to it.
