I recently picked up a older Gibbs Shark and it is in a fairly sad state. I think that I can bring her back based on some others boats that I have worked on. Any advice on this boat that would help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The first thing I would do - Check the inside of the hulls and remove as much of the flotation foam as possible- the ones I have seen with it are totally saturated, making it useless and adding a lot of weight. Lots of ways to replace it if it is important to you.

let us know if you have any questions- no reason why that boat cant float again!

Hi Cleric:

How did you make out with your restoration?

Is your Gibs Shark flying?
