Jake/ Green room graphics. The guy that sent you the line drawing.

hah...

I do shirts but only the high performance wicking apparel. The ink process is dye sublimation so it's not limited in the number of colors like silk screening. Short sleeve shirts (with graphics) will run about $14 to $18 each (depending on brand/quality)...long sleeve adds about $2 per shirt. Quantities can find some discount.

If the graphic needs work, there will be some design fees...but if it's ready to go, no setup fee.

I can vouch for his work(like he needs it). He's top shelf all the way.

Jake, So dye sublimation won't work on cotton?

It will not work on cotton. The fabric has to be a synthetic fabric - the dye works on a molecular level to dye the fabric and the natural cotton fibers will not hold the ink. With cotton, you're options are silk-screening or embroidery (or some of the new garment printing options which are more expensive and still a lot like silk-screening).

Okay, sweet. Does that approximate cost include the price of the shirt as well, or just the price of the dye sublimination?

Let me tweak the graphics you sent me, and I'll get back to you.

don't know, not trying it! (my process is limited to 13" x 19" and involves 400 degrees F). Nylon will work but on a limited basis - it's more temperature sensitive than polyester and you won't see me putting my spinnaker in the heat press anytime soon. ;-)

I can't give enough kudo's to jake for his graphic skills. He's done all of my shirts and boat graphics over the years. Most of the time I give him an idea of what I want, and he nails it!
