Jake,

When you do vinyl such as on Kranzt's boat, is the vinyl printed and then covered in a clear?

Edit Reason: I should have paid more attention in school.

I did the vinyl for the sails - Mike had the hulls wrapped locally because I didn't have the capability at the time. I will have that capability here in a few more weeks...if my drywall guys will ever f(*&$##g finish and quit screwing up - they're on their way here now to do some more work. Primer is going up tomorrow come hell or high water.

I do! It's actually a cost effective replacement for shirts and/or hats (lord knows I have enough shirts and hats). It's a commemorative plaque 5"x7" that is very glossy, high resolution, and outdoor duty. These are actually really popular with a several model r/c events that I do them for and we do about 3,000 of them each year. The idea is that you collect these from the regattas that you attend and you hang them in your shop, home, or plaster your trailer box with them showing your regatta trail. We can also specialize several plaques to use as awards, so your trail will also show your finish position and what year. Planning to start pushing these out in about another four months (and buying an add from Rick...so apologies for the self promotion).

For the regatta, they're about half the cost of a basic cotton shirt in quantity (design time, if required, not included).

I'm making an educated guess based on roll weight and factoring backing paper to be about half the weight...but probably about .2 lbs.

Wow, I was guessing on the order of a couple of pounds. I've been thinking about wrapping a mast.
