At this stage it appears that it is the only news coming out from the F16 Europeans.... Sorry we couldn't make it there this year to bring you more updates...

Sorry we have not been able to post updates on the F16 Europeans being held in Italy. If you had not caught up, the final results were:

1st Tom Phipps & Nikki Boniface (GBR)
2nd Jack Benson & Celine van Dooren (AUS/NED)
3rd Anne Claire Le Berre & Valentin Bellet (FRA)
4th Emmanuel Le Chapelier & Alexandre Noirot (FRA)
5th Moana Vaireaux & Manon Audinet (FRA)

For the VIPERS.... a "full house" (all top 5). Well done to everyone involved.

In short a superb event in a great location.
The surroundings are stunning, temperatures and winds great. throughout the event the wind built from sitting to single trapeze to double trapeze and full cunningham. Great conditions to crown the Euro champions.

Interest and level increased extremely compared to last year or 2 years ago. Between 5 to 10 Olympic campaigning teams definately pumped up the level.

42 boats of different brands showing the formula concept is truly working also for the F16 class.
