Any rough idea of the non-foiling A-cat mast length?

And could the hulls be carried on top of a smaller pop-up camper (with appropriate cradles)? Only when camper is lowered, of course.

I've seen an A Cat trailered on top of a pop up, I think it was Woody Cope. I think the masts are around 30ft, but havent measured.

Glad to see this forum being used, wondered why it never was......

I think the A-catters use some other forum/media to discuss.. Maybe FB?

I was looking for that kid's project in Sarasota(?) who built their A-cat from scratch

Most of the A-cat discussion goes on in the google group for it that has about 150 members. you can find it via the the a-cat.us site. Some also on Facebook at the USA A-Class page. Some posts on Sailing Anarchy too.

This site would be a good place for more discussion as is very focused.

I've seen boats carried on pickup trucks at an angle, on RVs, etc. Even on davits off a cabin cruiser.

Since the boat is 7.5 feet wide, it makes things easier. Masts are 9 meters long I believe.
