Cool guys take a look at this T-foil rudders. These rudders resist pitching and pitchpoling. Very tempting.

Incredibly cool. If I were not racing One Design I'd be making a pair up. Can you imagine doing the wildthing with these babies on. That would be cool.

Do the Tornado rules not allow the use of these? I'm assuming not but don't really know.

Wouter-
Good idea, seen them before. Stealth F 16 looks like a real hottie!
Did you hear Taipan is coming out with new rudderstocks next March?

Since I'm not a dealer Kirt, I can say what I like.... and I know it completely subjective but I think the stealth looks awful... like a toy, plastic. production kind of boat, not a racer. I know that is not contructive, and that I'm biased as I own a T4.9, but it is ugly!!!

As for the rudders... another benefit would be that induced drag from tip vortices would be reduced/ cut out altogether. Fairly minor, I know, but it may overcome the extra surface drag?

I think tornado rules do allow this feature although I'm really not anexperet on tornado rules. Well Mike if the F20 goes through than you can have them too !

I doubt if they will help much on a o already very picthresistent 20 ft. boats, though.

Any change of you participating in the F16 HP david and Goliath cup and see which one of the two (Stealth or Taipan) finishes higher in the list next september ?

And beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. Iearned this in discussions with H16 sailors.

GEASTMENT

I cant believe you think my boat is ugly and awful ! I think it must have been your reflection in the screen that you were looking at.

Okay ! =) (smiley) lets settle down. You both had a stab at eachtother (that's fair) , now lets get back to being constructive. Or better still fight it out in the D&G Cup !!! =) (Smiley)

Hi Sue, Didn't say your boat was awful...I'm sure it sails well etc etc... just not a good looker in my book. Just a flippant comment with no malice that I probably shouldn't have put, so sorry! As for my reflection... let's just say that it's a good thing computer screens aren't reflective! :-)

As for D&G cup, wouter, I don't sail with a kite... so doesn't that count me out?
