1724 now belongs to me [ Karl Herman ]. I swapped 687
to Geoff plus cash. I believe Geoff has since sold 687.
I'll be sailing 1724 at Mannering Park sailing club at Lake Macquarie NSW. Renaming boat St Elmo 2.

Im new to this forum and sailing. I (Mark Judkins) purchased 1680 in February 2008. I'm sailing her at Port Melbourne Yacht Club.

1023 "Bulldog" has been sailing at Altona this year with G Caines at the helm.

How many races have you been in at Port Melbourne?

Pretty tough with a benchmark like Bob Wilson at the club however I'm pretty sure that he would be most helpful with advice.

1680 doesn't have a name as yet. I guess I should come up with something by next sailing season. As far as racing goes I haven't entered any races. I've been getting the feel for sailing / capsizing and just lurking on the sidelines observing. Im still not comfortable out on trapeze but I guess that will come with practice. I intend to start joining in the races when sailing season starts again in October I think. I'm very aware that with my current skill level I will be lucky to finish a race within the required time period let alone challnge anyone.
