As many of my friends know, I'm not doing the tybee this year due to having to get married :P

But I know that we crank up our preparations around this time of year, and was wondering who else was going to throw their hat in the ring? If you're on the fence, then you need to simply dive in and do it. Its the best experience you'll have in your life. It's killing me inside that I can't do it this year! GAH.

Lose the broad, and sail the boat! I'm def. doing the Tybee again, so watch for team T&A on the Velocity Boat.

Don't tell Kate I said that please, Tad.

That's fine, just start deducting it from the charter fee you owe me as crew on my fine vessel for the past 2 years. I'd say we did about 25 races, we'll say avg. of 2.5 days each, at about $100 a day for your half, so you're looking at $6250 in charter fees. I'll only take cash from you

Sounds like maybe you should have required a deposit up front...

So that makes you a "rock star", that you can charge crew fees?

If he paid your roundtrip, you'd be a "sail pimp"

You might not be able to call puffs like a pro, but nobody can pull up to a regatta and jump on an already rigged boat and sail as well as you.

Are you going to be making an appearance/signing autographs at any point during Tybee this year?

If the Carpal Tunnel manages to stay away, I'll be there for the finish I hope.
