I'm not a racer, too much travel for me, I just wanna jump on the nearest boat when it's blowing and I can break free. I end up sailing solo much of the time, but want a boat that can be run 2 up, want a spin boat that's well sorted, easy to push with eager, willing but marginally skilled crew. Like to sail when it's blowing hard, 15 to 25 kts.
I think you have been answering your own question. The only boat that works for what you want is the F16. Yes, everyone scream at the F16 guy for saying it. The F18 is a great boat but can any average size person right it? F16 240lbs, F18 397 (infusion, from nacra website).
