I have looked at the spinn pole on these and it seems to be high enough. Have you stuffed it much? I have only seen the N6.0 have problems with this. I stuffed my N20 a few times and found in the conditions that it hit, I was driving the bows too hard anyway and slowing the boat down.
Don't entertain the thought of attaching any jib sheet blocks to the bridals. Without the pole, it will try to pull the forestay back when you sheet, no matter how tight you run you rig.
If you're digging the pole in, try to fly the hull a little higher and get back some to plane the boat out some. It is quite a bit different design than the H20 you're used to and needs to plane out a bit more when the conditions pick up. It will be a rougher ride, though.
