This last October the Stiletto Nationals were renamed the Suncoast Multihull Rendezvous in order to include more boats, including a sizeable fleet of corsairs and some random cats and tris.

Tragically, just a week before the event, longtime participant, avid multihull sailor, and my uncle and mentor passed away. To honor his memory and influence in the florida multihull community the event was renamed again 'The Bob Buzzelli Legacy Regatta'

It was a fantastic event, as the stiletto nationals always are, only better because we had more than thirty boats participating.

I am hoping that next year a Beach Cat class might show up.
Who is interested in sailing in sarasota in october?. I know a great group of stiletto sailors and corsair sailors will be there. This years NOR was posted on Catsailor so I hope everyone considers coming. Sarasotta is a great place to sail. This yea we had a distance race to venice and back, folowed by two days around the cans.

Anyway this is just to gauge some interest in the beach cat community ....
