WOW! an honest to god program! Outstanding job!

IMO its useful to be clear what possible junior programs are shooting for.

We hope that we can make this a friendly, fun, pressure-free atmosphere for the youths to explore the world of sailing.

We need to go to school on the west coast clubs!

Down the coast a bit you find the CISA organization which deals with the elite sailor.

their goal...

The program will consist of lectures and on-the-water drills including tactics, strategy, sail trim, boatspeed, etc., together with information on what is important for developing a successful Olympic campaign.
From the CISA web site CISA Mulitihull Clinic

These two kinds of programs complement each other and target differet groups of kids.

On the east coast...
I think the Syracuse sailors have a Jr sailing program going with similar goals as to the Division 4 program . (please chime in PatB)

I think the Key's have a program going using Waves. Again the goal is .... friendly and fun multihull sailing.

Do we need a CISA type organization and program on the east coast?
