My Tiger was never officially weighed but using household scales came in at 178.
Thanks Flump for all the work. I'd also be interested to here comments on performance differences between the different jibs that are being used.
A lot of people here are using the fully battened jib. I don't think there are any performance differences between the jibs used that can be separated out from the performance of the sailors and their tactical decisions. Personally I like the fully battened jib - it always seems to have a nice shape and it looks cool. I never rigged the roller furler on the old jib anyway. Is it faster than the semi battened penetex jib or the old dacron jib? - who knows
