some body left most of a p18 on the beach about six months ago. i remember the last time i saw him go sail- he never came back. evidently, the boat demasted. a week later the boat was back on the beach with a jury rig of the boom in a vertical position where the mast was. anyway, i assume it is abandoned. i was out there about a week ago and the boat had been stripped of all running and standing rigging, rudders, hot stick, and harken blocks. (i think the beach front resident may have stripped her down himself and may still have these parts) really all that is left is a trailer, mast, hulls yellow '80, tramp. this is why us cat sailors are shunned. somebody come and get this thing. the hulls are very solid. it is located at sta. 12 on sullivan's island, sc
