Over Easter we sailed the Sail Sydney Olympic Class Regatta over 4 days. On day 1, we sailed in winds offically recorded at upto 35 knots.

Was thrown over when exiting a jibe and also did not let go of the hotstick quick enough...... Try and find a shop open on Good Friday to buy a repacement...... Finished up the regatta with a curtain rod as a tiller extension.

We destroyed the headboard on our new main sail and sheered the main halyard swivel lock (3rd unit now).... Use alot of downhaul in 35 knots.

Also broke a batten in the jib, lost a centre board strip, put a 2 foot long split in the middle of the trapalene and began to tear out the self tacking jib track.

We were also sailing with the mainsheet lower block tied to the centre of the rear beam because we shattered the traveller car a few weeks before (on back order)

$$$$$

Boat now comes of the water for a few weeks for some much needed repairs.
