I didnt pluck the €500 figure out of thin air.
The insurance company I use would ask €486,52 to insure this boat for theft and damages, etc anywhere in europe (WA+Casco basis).
(Assuming a day-value of €25K, trailer value of €5000, and own risk of €1000).
That is not too bad right?
