The flow stays attached to the flat kite in light air (under 5 knots). I can sail hot, build apparent, and carve down while maintaining boat speed.
Makes sense, and I know you do a lot of lake sailing...trouble is our weeknight sailing venue is in a relatively narrow channel...the bands of pressure are small, head up at all and you're out of them...staying deep is the name of the game until you really get some breeze.
