Email Jonathan Grant catapulttramps@netscape.net - he is modifying his P19 with a jib furler. Basically, you need to get a sailboat rigging shop to make you a custom pigtail (shorter) to account for the length of the upper and lower furler units. Also, you will have to remove any adjustable jib-luff tension hardware. I would suggest copying the I20-style jib halyard/downhaul system, as it works well with a furler and is easy to use.



For furling h/w, you could either use the older Harken-style furler, or a newer style where the drum sits below the forestay/bridle intersection. Check with Harken and/or call Performance Catamarans.
