don't realy know a lot more about the frames. I assume it was done for light weight and stiffness. A lot of Mossies use ply & foam frames, reasonably light but they take on weight with time, carbon wouldn't do this. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
