Having the shrouds attached to sides would (to my thinking) interfer with mast rotation, so I would have mine attached to the front of the mast, AHPC make a hound fittind with two holes (on the front centreline of the mast) the bottom hole for the sidestays and forestay and the top hole for the trapezes.

The diamonds can be attach to the sides, you could T-Ball fittings as shown in the photo album as well.
