Here is a pic of what I think is the new marstrom. Looks very similar to the old, but the bow appears to be a bit more plumb. Bow #98 is Bob Webbon, #57 is Andrew Landenberger and the yellow boat is Goran. Can anyone confirm this is the new boat?

That is the new M5. It has less rocker. Beautiful boat. The main beam is striker less and quite large. Wish I had the money.

I thought there was going to be a new Marstrom design in this thingy. Anybody seen it? Picture?

Here it is!
Sorry for letting you wait, I have been home with a cold for some days.

Im curious who you have talked to at Marstrom, I have not heard of your request.

We are working on a remake of the web page therefore we have not been able to put out the info.

Of course I will provide you with requested information.

Our A-Cat M5 is the fifth edition of the Marstrom A-Cat. The first edition was made in the early 90s.

This year’s model is changed in both performance and appearance.

The hull has less rocker and a flatter hull shape.
The hulls are built without bulkheads and have recessed carbon pins for easy attachment of the rig.
The new front beam is designed to take the load without a dolphin striker which gives it a slender look.
The centreboards are narrowed to improve top speed but wide enough to allow easy manoeuvrability at low speed.
There are no trampoline knobs, there is a glued-in rack in the hull where the trampoline rope is attached.
The standard model is equipped with an internal mainsheet system lead to the middle of the tramp where the traveller is controlled on the same rotating carbon fitting as the mainsheet.

Price complete boat, no sails 17900 EUR+VAT

Price platform (no mast no boom, no rigging) 13900 EUR+VAT

Please call for more info.
