Whose beautiful Shark is that? And where is it?
And why aren't the hulls sitting on cradles? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I took that photo at your previous property at Tradewinds regatta.

The thread is getting away from alternative materials too soon. I got some USDA experimental, treated chicken feathers to try as composite reinforcement. Unfortunately, old-timey polyester did not wet the feathers..... maybe I should try again. I gave up before trying epoxy, and never had vinylester.
Note that carbon fiber is not wet by polyester either...but vinylester apparently does the trick for the new carbon boats. Comments?

Maybe my family should not have gotten out of the poultry farm business. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Wow! What a pretty boat! After having assisted restore an antique 70ft gaff rigged schooner (and directed it with Sea Campers!), and sailed numerous others, I have a soft spot in my heart for nice wooden boats. Fortunately for me, that soft spot does not extend to my head (well, wife has another opinion, but at least *I* don't think it does!). And yes, cradles!!
