I just discovered that US Sailing has a Junior Olympic Program -

http://www.ussailing.org/youth/racing/jo/PressCenter/fact_sheet.asp

My initial reading is that there is a fair amount of flexibility to add events/classes that meet their basic criteria (8'-14', One Design). So it seems reasonable to hope that we could work towards catamaran involvement in the future. The Wave would probably be the most viable contender at the moment. And if one of the F12 designs gets some traction in the next couple of years that might be an additional possibility as well. Something to think about.

Hi Mark. The US Youth Multihull Championship http://www.ussailing.org/championships/youth/multihull/
is part of this program. Another good reason to Join US SAILING, as a Golden Anchor Multihull sailor and take part.
