Hi Jake -

Wanted to bring this design topic post back for more concept design discussion ,--always fun ,-it is so interesting ,-and fits together with a new post by Frenchie on speed trials and speed .

The boat I built 15 years ago or more was just too experimental ,-flat bottom ,-anglulating rig ,-huge spin .

It was a fun interesting learning experience .
