That's a serious rig. 5 cars on top of double stacked cats. Y'all sure have some small cars over there.

I didn't notice that in the backround until you mentioned it.

Why the broken I20 masts? Making trophies, splicing together another mast, inquiring minds want to know?

tough strategy question there....

Buy new sailplan and aluminum masts?

Buy replacement sails (on carbon mast) and hope nothing breaks?

Bring lots of carbon and epoxy?

Decisions decisions... Especially if you're a multi-boat team....

I have an I20 main and am considering putting it on the 18HT hulls and trying it uni style. About .7 sq meters smaller than the original HT sail/mast so should be a decent fit.

Did not know they existed. That would be a fine option.

Technically, they don't yet...but it's in the works to replace the very expensive carbon mast.

Why not check with your local aluminum mast supplier?

I use these guys for aluminum extrusions, http://www.dwyermast.com/
This website will give you an idea of the prices.

Find someone local and price out a new aluminum tube, its not like you are concerned with one design.

Pick a section close to the i20 section and give it a whirl.

Sounds interesting. Anybody have specs or drawing of I20 section?

This one comes in 32' length:
