I think he said he was 90 minutes from Dunedin...
No one knows where Smitty's I20 went. After he died... Dr Ron was walking up the beach trying to sell it to anyone interested.. .

Smitty's boat was bought by Kirk at KeySailing and resold to a customer in Pensacola.

No, it's not his. In all due respects, I met Smitty one time on the beach, and he was a heck of a nice guy. I would have liked to known him better.
Actually, the boat came from the Nacra dealer in Sarasota a couple of years ago. I had a 18' Prindle for about 12 years and got out of cats. The dealer was getting out of cats and had this and a 5.0 for sale. Since I'm rather on the large side, I decided on the I-20. They had a young fellow by the name of Steve that had been setting them up, and was a student on the sailing team at USF. He helped me once or twice but nothing since then. I've been to Honeymoon Island twice. I live in Hernando which is just north of Inverness and not to far from Floral City and Larry Ferber. I've never met Larry, but do know one of the guys that sail with him.
I guess the best thing to do, is to make time and come down on a Saturday and meet all you guys at the pass.

I'd like to thank everyone for the input and advice as to repairing the EO pole.

Forrest

Gotcha.

perhaps come to dunedin for a race. then you can meet a few people who are on this forum... but probably of more value would be to talk with the I 20 guys and lean about your cat...

There is a race next sunday (memorial day weekend). More info about local races can be found on the Tampa Bay Catamaran Sailors' Yahoo! group -http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TampaBayCatSailors/

I had an N20 for about 5 years (sail #279/501) with the EO snuffer. Great boat. Sad to see it go to a buyer in Canada, but growing family required it...

Larry drives the pink N20 that used to be Tom Worthman's, right?

Just trying to keep up with the "where are they now" stuff...

Where did Boog's red one go?

And Les' black/white one go?

Have a cat already, but it's the kind that barfs up fur balls.

Have the money for a boat, but no time. Ksurfer was nice enough to let me insult his boat with my presence at a regatta or two, and I hope to build on that success with the kitchen pass until the kids can swim and will sail with me...
