Just replaced my previous pair of Gill Trapeze boots with the newer model because they are so comfortable and secure. They improved the upper closure so that the velcro wraps all the way around the leg. In fact, I am looking to adopt the same closure to extend the life of my older pair. Soles and uppers are still good after many hours of use; however, the skimpy velcro design was giving away and allowing the boot to unzip.

I have a pair of the short ones and they are great - very grippy on the hull. I added an insert from some tennis shoes because they are a bit thin on the bottom. This added some arch support also.
