Maybe you could buy or make a new F28 blade and trade it for a used "legal" with someone who doesn't care about this detail, like cruisers.

Bert, I've long wanted to join your group in a C24 but wife, kids, college, horses and lots of other stuff keeps getting in the way. Today for instance, I am driving from Sebring to Auburn, AL, hauling 2 horses and twin daughters up to college. You don't want to know how many Corsairs that costs!

From the pictures and description it looked like the same old F28R but with a slightly smaller cabin, larger ****? Seemed a little lighter in the specs too.

They must be VERY smart horses!...

Rudder is hung from main hull. No real design issue or failure, just an old rudder that has apparently seen its fair share of badly repaired bumps and bruises. Part of me says fix it, another part says eff that, buy a new one. Given prices it's fixin' and fairin' for me...
