By my crude estimation, the multihull fleet at Holiday in Dixie 2003 made up 24% of total attendance, and was definitely the largest fleet on the lake. Not bad, considering that regatta participation has been dropping off everywhere.

Regatta chairman Jim "Woz" Wasner busted hiney to make this event a success, and dinghy/keelboat master David McCary forfeited his racing fun to spend the weekend running RC, so we are indebted once again to the monohull community for their support.

Thanks especially to the out-of-town racers who trailered for several hours to get to the event. We hope you come back next year--This is historically a heavy-air event, so the chances of HID being light-air two years in a row are VERY slim. Next year Jody and I are pushing for crawfish and more live music..

The results are posted here. I had only sail numbers and class to identify the racers, so please let me know if I mis-identified anyone.

See ya at Slip to Ship!
