It was tiring but lots of fun. Some carnage: two broken masts, some ripped sails, many and various bits of hardware let go.

The ladies took a hell of a beating! I don't remember seeing so many nasty bruises, even going back to H16 days.

There is a shoal in the bay. One of the Vipers found it, one of our local Taipan 4.9s found it . . . again! (Seth to Stefan, under spin doin' 15+ knots,"Why are those Viper guys standing next to their boat waving at us?" )

Lots of food and drink, but not nearly the "party hearty" attitude you might expect. Lots of people came to sail.

A nasty squall came through right at the start of the first race on Friday making the start chaotic. One boat went over, another lost it's mast. I asked Paul Ulibarri about it at the end of the day and he said "20 knots" but considered that he may not have gotten the max reading. It hit right at the gun! Priceless!
