I thing we should plan on the Meigs Regatta at Walton Yacht Club, July 10th and 11th, as our mid summer event. Excellent location and race people. If we plan early we could probably coordinate 3 days of racing.

I'm doubtful for that one as a trip to the panhandle is ten hours one way. Area D South will be in FWB this year and it's a priority for me.

If you can gather support to make it our National Championship, that might be a different matter. As much as I'd love to keep everything at GYC, it's better for the class, imo, if we move things around.

So, you need to start politikin' the Tennessee and Chesapeake folks!

In the best of all possible worlds, we could combine the two and get five days of racing. Albeit with two different clubs.
