There are 12 A Cats, 8 H16s, and several F18 and open class boats signed up for Sail the Bay, VA Beach this weekend. It's always a great regatta. Anyone else planning to be there that isn't signed up http://www.hobiefleet32.org/register/2010_STB/2010_STB_WHOIS.htm

I'm also looking forward to Duck Cup.. I haven't been able to make it the past couple of years. Anyone seen a NOR on this one? I didn't see anything on the Nor'banks website.

One more single handed 16 would be awesome. I think that would make a class.

Hopefully they will start the single and crewed H16s together. It'll be good to get more boats on the line and while we're not technically in the same class, there really isn't much advantage either way. I think Klavenski is sailing even though he is not registered and I'm sure there will be a few others.

Great time this past weekend at Va Beach... Perfect conditions of around 10-12 both days and the rain held off. Unfortunately there were only 3- 2 crew H16s, since several guys went 1-up, but we had about 10 H16s total and had the same starts. My daughter skippered one race and won our class and came in about 3rd total that race... Dad was so proud.

I think camping is allowed at Duck Cup.

Here is a shoot of my daughter finishing that race.. We had just gybed over to starboard to cross in front of several boats making their port line finishes.. Not sure if you see the grin on her face.

Duck Cup is coming up on June 12-13. Sorry for the delay in getting the NOR up but we have been busy giving our site a big facelift!! I have attached a link to the NOR and some primitive camping is available. We have no more room for RV's since I have already committed to several. Please contact me directly for more details. If you have not come to this race, it is a good adventure with 2 challenging distance races both starting and ending at Nor'Banks.
