So I discovered this morning that a black plastic footlocker and a black plastic tool box were taken from the back of my regatta wagon sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning. Catsailors in SoCal, please be on the lookout for:

Black plastic footlocker - wheeled like luggage with stickers on the inside lid from Harken, Glaser Sails, 50th Anniversary Hobie, 2005 Formula F18 Championship, etc.
12 gallon black plastic tool tub, grey lid with red handles.
Spool of FSE Robline 8mm Racing Sheet - blue
Spool of 2mm Ocean 3000
Spool of 3mm Ocean 3000
Spool of 4mm Dinghy Control - black
Spool of 4mm SolCor bungee
40 assorted parrel beads
6 20mm Ronstan bullet blocks
4 40mm Ronstan Orbit blocks
2 55mm Ronstan Orbit blocks
3 organizing trays, one is black and yellow with "Williams" written on the handle
2 4-sheave 60mm Holt-Allen blocks
1 5-sheave 57mm Harken carbo block
1 3-sheave 57mm Harken carbo auto-ratchet with two 40mm blocks and cleat
2 57mm Harken carbo auto-ratchet blocks
1 can of McLube
etc., etc...

Reward offered... stuff was ordered and organized for transport to Racine, WI for the F18 North Americans in two weeks. Color me bummed out. Thieves suck.

That does royally suck.

Hopefully, with the generous attitude of everyone, we'll see you in Racine.

Where was it? Do you think it was some local kids?

Keep an eye on ebay.

I noticed some rather specific sailboat parts 2 years ago on ebay, including a mainsail with a friends logo. I called the owner to ask him why he was parting out his boat and , didnt know what I was talking about. It turned out the boat was being sold for parts, on ebay, and he didnt even know he had gotten hit because everything was supposed to be in storage. He ended up getting most of it back.
