I've heard of a butt cleat, (sitting on the line); foot cleat (stepping); Knee cleat, etc. Now I've seen the correct technique of the 'teeth cleat'! NIce video, on one of the quick snap shots, ya'll were getting the lee hull up double trapped, then it cut away just as it was rising.

It would be a possible addition but then you might start wanting bit an up and down line on both boards... If your crew is on top of things then it's no problem to swap the boards around. And if everyone has the same then nobody has an advantage. | | | Re: The real F20 Carbon video

And if everyone has the same then nobody has an advantage. In talking to Mike Krantz ,it seems the more the wind picks up, the more the leeward board needs to come up(correct me if I'm,wrong). That would seem the least likely time you would want to send someone to pull the board, but exactly when they need to. That's why I thought the raising strap would be pretty effective. I've got them on my A and like how they work. Pull down lines would be useful, but not as much.Is there anything in the rules prohibiting control lines like that? Would drilling through or bonding in a strap weaken the board too much? Thanks, Todd
