For those sailors that race in the SE, can you populate your "expected" attendance at identified regatta's at:

2011 Southeast USA Sailing Calendar

This Google spreadsheet is unprotected, so you can add rows to include your name.

Place a Y or N or ? in each cell to indicate your attendance.

Interesting approach!

I could see how this could really strengthen the OD fleets by forging a real focus on the OD schedule... It also could support the remaining events on the schedule as they are clearly strait forward open class regattas.

Can we include a column for the Gulf Yachting Association Multihull Championships at GYC, MS in late September?

Note: Hypertext links have been setup (as available) in the TITLE Descriptions of events to get you to the NOR or information on the regatta.

I put in a column for Hobie MWE - March 25-27 in Ft. Lauderdale. We should have a good crowd of 16s, 17s, 18s and 20s. The NOR will be released in the next few days.

The 34th Annual Pensacola Multihull Midwinters have been scheduled for March 18 - 20 pending any conflicts with major Class events. The site will be Quietwater Beach, and the sponsor is Key Sailing.

The 2011 Margaritaville Trimaran Rendezvous/Nationals and WETA Southeastern Championship are scheduled for May 1 - 5. The new Margaritaville Beach Hotel will be providing great lodging rates and super hospitality.

Maybe we can invite a few cats to share the WETA circle.

Of course you have overlooked the pesky Wave contingent once again. We all know that they aren't really boats, right Matt?

Sorry you were feeling neglected, but there were exactly two Waves at last year's MWE. I appreciate the fact that you guys are rallying the troops for this event.

BTW, it's not nice to throw stones at the PRO. He might just give you w/l courses all day long. wink

It was only a pebble and you may be surprised when we have the largest class once the final tally is in.

It's not up to me when the One Of A Kind regatta takes place. As far as I know Mr. Simmons and Mr. Reigart are taking point on that one. Personally I don't care when it is as long and it doesn't conflict with another major championship.

As for the frustrated comment... Dude, why do ya gotta be like that?

Actually, Matt, if you recall, we had about 9 Waves there. Due to the weather, my broken wrist, my son's thumb nearly sliced off, 6 of us left, leaving Chris and Stan Woodruff. Too windy for Stan's wife Sharon, who stayed on the beach.
Dave and I were going to attempt sailing, if the wind was light and drove 12 hours to show our faces, anyway.., and we registered and paid. But, now way in our condition we could sail in the big wind.
Rick

Without frustration there is no hope, and without hope there is no try.

We luv Ya, brah!

BTW - The 2010 Hobie Midwinters East Regatta was held at Singing River Yacht Club, MS. Two waves entered - one Wave won. How about the Rules for Wave participation in 2011?

Now Matt is probably frustrated with me, but he's a cool brah and will understand:-) I hope.

Let's remember, it's Mele Kalikimaka time - B

You're slipping, Rick.

That was 2009 (in Panama City), not 2010 (in Pascagoula).
