Was just reminded of this cool catamaran Star Wars knockoff that was done as a student film.

It was posted to YouTube in 2013 and discussed a little on TheBeachcats.com forum.

Was it discussed here? Anyone know anyone involved in this? Would love to get my hands on an early copy or the actual film.

That is some really funny stuff, and some great sailing as well. l loved all the crashes. I have an old Prindle I sail solo with jib so I appreciate the effort!

I loved all the poon star mustaches and I especially liked the ending, where the girl drops the dude and sails off into the sunset without him.

Too funny.

Was that filmed in Hawaii? Looked like it in the background, and with those waves seems like Hawaii.

How did they get the toy catamaran to go so fast? I'm thinking it must have been on a string being pulled by someone off camera.
