As we know Geert has entered the Ronde Tiengemeente distance race which had a large fleet of F18's , iF20's and other prey boats. He saled at 145 kg's 2-up with the 17 sq. mtr. spi. + snuffer

<br>Geert earned no less than 194 points in one single race by beaten on elapsed time NO LESS than 68 % !!!! of all 57 F18's entered !!! That is two thirds of the whole entered F18 fleet.

<br>Together with the John as the UK 2001 cat champion on the Stealth this resultis a very strong indication that the F16HP class is indeed of equal performance to the F18 class in general.

<br>He also beat the 2 Hobie FX-one (one with spi) and the 1 I-17 on elapsed time. When the highest ranking FX-one spi was 52 th in overall field of 194 entered boats; it was sailed by a very well known Dutch sailor and 2001 Dutch FX champ.

<br>Total of prey = 134 boats. So Geert got 71 / 134 = 53 % of all prey available (which includes very fast boats like Int. Tornado) and 39 / 57 = 68 % of the main prey class of F18 boats.
