Its probably a hassle to add another forum, but one where we can post launching sites might prove to be popular.

Mary's comments on the Key's were most helpful as I am planning a trip down in the fall.

I would be able to add several in my area and other places that I have sailed.

There is already a database of sites that are cat-friendly, but the link for it is in my bookmarks back home. Try googling it, or maybe a sailor more informed than I will post the URL. I could be wrong but I think it used to be part of On-the-Wire.

I think that's a great idea. But should it include all areas you can put your cat in and sail from (such as a boat ramp) or only areas such as beaches you are allowed to sail from? Last weekend I was up at a state park that is on the beach in Hollywood. A beautiful beach. The park ranger told me that if I could get the catamaran to the beach through the walking paths without driving it with the car then I was welcome to do so. I am constantly looking for nice places to sail from. If everyone puts in their .02 I'm sure we can get a much more complete database than the on the wire one.
