At 66 my aching back no longer likes to sprawl on the trampoline. Can anyone tell me the smallest cats out there with a "traditional" **** for seating. I'd like some speed and ease of handling, no trailering. I'd use it for day sailing in the Keys.

It's not a catamaran, but the Farrier trimarans offer traditional seating in a **** with the speed and responsiveness of a multihull. At the lower end of the spectrum in price might be one of the trailer tri 680s.

Do you want something you can keep on land or in the water?

Since he asked the question on the cruising multihull forum, it is not clear whether he wants something he can sail off the beach or something that he would keep at a dock (or anchored).

If he wants a beachable boat with a ****, the only thing I can think of is the Windrider trimarans (I think they have both a 16-foot and 18-foot version).
