Greetings.....been reading some posts on here & its already been extremely useful.
Hopefully someone can help with my numerous questions.....
I'm thinking of buying my 1st cat, to be sailed out of Marina Del ray, CA.
I've sailed monohulls extensively back in the UK.
My biggest unknown is the ease & ability to right a capsized cat....so I want to make sure I get something I can easily get back up.

I'm 6'6" and weigh around 235 lbs. My crew weighs about 110 lbs.....but my sailing would be 50/50 single handed.

Is a Nacra 5.2 easy enough to get up by myself?
Which cats are considered easiest / toughest to get back up....Others I'm thnking of are Hobie 18, Prindle 18, Tornado [could I manage this solo?]

Is a Nacra 5.2 my best bet.....or would a different cat be more suitable to my weight & sailing location [ocean based]???

Is $1500 for a '84 N 5.2 a resaonable deal?

Is there decent sized fleets out of MDR if I want to get into racing?

Many Thanks,

Greg
