I'm putting a righting system on my P-19 and would like to verify the preferred location of the eyestraps on the front crossbeam before I start drilling. I guess a photo would help the most.

Thanks,
Jack

Perhaps it would help if you shared which righting system, or at least what type of righting system, you're installing. I right mine with a righting line and don't use eyestraps. I have a pole setup on my Nacra Square, and I'd love to photograph it, but it's all battened down for Rita's upcoming social call.

The system I'm using is like the "Big Cat Righting" rig shown in Cat Sailor Online and Murrys. Its basically a triagular rope rig held tight by bungee. It requires two eyestraps to be mounted to the underside of the front crossbar to secure a 1/2" D rope. Just thought someone might take some of the guess work out of the eyestrap location for me.

Jack

PS: Good luck weathering Rita.
