A rectification is in order here :



It was expressed in a different post that the shipping cost from Australia to the USA would be about USD 500,-



This is not true.



The estimating quote giving by AHPC (Taipan builder) for shipping a single boat when not part of a larger group is 2000,- Aus $ + import duties = 1080 US $ + import duties = say 1200 US $



The price may come out lower than that when part of a larger group or when shipped in the A-cat container scheduled for the USA.



Wouter misread an e-mail and thought that the 500 dollars qouted there was the shipping cost in US $ to the US.



We hope to have clearified the issue with this rectification.
