Thinking about bringing my N20 to Florida for the winter and traveling back and forth (from Missouri) for a handfull of events. Can anyone point me to a decent calendar of distance and bouy races that should be considered??

I'm looking at Steeplechase and Tradewinds, but would like to know what else is available.

the florida 1design boys have a nice regatta schedule posted in a thread here:

note that this is only for 2006. I reckon they'll get the 2007 calendar up to spec soon.

On this very site, on the masthead, click on Events, then click on Southeast.., every regatta in the area is listed.

Thanks Rick. Unfortunately there's not much there yet beyond Tradewinds. I'd like to plan on about the top 4-5 events for a N20 between Dec and March, and then figure out where to store the boat based on where the events are scheduled.

Yes, most of the 2007 events have not been finalized yet but they are usually close to this years events. The Hirams Haul (Melbourne to Sebastian) is coming up last weekend in October. It is a great event.

CABB and Upper Keys Sailing Club have an event every month.., just one day events, however. CABB will announce them in the CABB Forum.
There is a two day regatta at Lake Eustis on Washington Birthday weekend that brings quite a few cats.
