Thanks for trying with Spin Sheet. I haven't given up on them yet. Maybe they could use this for a winter cover.

They did contribute to CF as part of the C100 in which this picture was taken. Unfortunately, I don't think they want everyone knowing that they contributed.

I thought you would have liked the caption that went with it! Even so, in the mag they chopped the left hand side of it off... Did a major hack on the content too - I had listed all the series winners and some other stuff. Oh well.

The rest of the pictures? You mean the ones where you pass us? Those have somehow dissapeared off my hard drive, the only ones left are where we get you at the marks... <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I edited the the post you are referring to. We seem to be doing this at the same time.

Oh yeah.... Thanks for the "schooling" at the marks.

I've sent them that photo twice, and have suggested it would make a great cover. The first time I sent that they didn't even print the article I gave them. This time I sent about three or four pics, one got in chopped and small. Hellofalotta ads though...

MartinRf, is it something in the water in Sweden that gives you folks such disdain for anything American? Perhaps it's the politics (that many of us don't agree with) - something else?

Jake, we are discussing a boat here and I don't care where it was made or designed! As I stated earlier this boat is not built in the US so why are we bashing US if we are discussing good and bad things about it?

I think that video was taken well before Playstation had its bows extended. IIRC when I saw it in person, the bows extended much more beyond the front front beam.

Could they not have a little more main up. It didn't look like their hull was even trying to lift, wouldn't they be faster with one hull just off the water or do I sound like and idiot?

Go read "The Race" by Tim Zimmerman. It will give you an idea of what can happen when these boats are driven to the edge.

Just finished the book, very good read.
